Research interests

  • HPLC-DAD-MSn in identification and quantification of polyphenols with antioxidant activity in food (berry fruits, grapes, juices, wines);
  • assay of flavonoids in plant material using chromatographic methods;
  • quantitative structure-HPLC retention relationships;
  • development and validation of methods for drug analysis by HPLC
  • environmental analysis using chromatographic methods (HPLC and GC).

 

Participation in projects (in last five years):

  • Chemical characterization of wild-growing medicinal and aromatic plants from Lamiaceae family and evaluation of the possibilities for their cultivation, Macedonian-Bulgarian bilateral research project (2005-2007), coordinator.
  • Development of analytical methods for determination of traces of metals and drugs in biological samples, national project (2006-2009), participant.
